Valor Gear’s Dress for Success Story of the Day

Operation Nobel Obelisk Green Berets: Flip flops, shorts, and youth leader hair
In the small country of Sierra Leone, West Africa to train troops of the Sierra Leonean president, these green berets were rudely awakened when a coup by rebel forces tore the country apart. In charge of evacuating civilians now, they grabbed whatever was available and headed out. A chance photograph caught this group all geared up: flip flops, t-shirts and shorts, and bed head with M4s. The green berets successfully evacuated over 400 Americans and 2500 civilians as intense fighting broke out and secured the US embassy compound.
It’s hot in Sierra Leone (I can attest to this as I used to live there) so shorts and flip flops are a must and so is an M4. Valor is in you. Dress appropriately.
