JAARS: Jungle Aviation and Radio Service

Christian STOL Bush Pilots helping with the North Carolina Disaster

My wife grew up on a small island in the South Pacific in the country of Papua New Guinea. As her father was a linguist translating the local language into a written form, one of the only ways to get out to the island was by small plane. The only people brave and talented enough to risk flying over open ocean and landing on harrowing jungle strips were the brave pilots of JAARS. Many of them were military veterans with decades of experience but all of them have dedicated their lives to a higher purpose and calling of helping those in need. Presently, their base of operations is in Waxhaw, NC and once again they have answered the call of those in need. These are experienced international pilots, mechanics, and facilitators now helping those in need in their immediate community. To the brave and selfless crew of JAARS, Valor Gear salutes you and your efforts to rescue the victims of Hurricane Helene.

If you feel the need to support these brave men and women, please donate to Give - JAARS or visit their web page a JAARS.ORG Valor is in you. Set it free.
