Felix Baumgartner: Jumped from the edge of space at Mach 1.25

Fastest man in history

When Austrian badass Felix Baumgartner jumped from a Red Bull helium balloon 24 miles above the earth in 2012, he did not expect to become the world’s fastest man in unpowered flight. Taking months of psychological counseling for claustrophobia due to being stuck in a space suit for several hours, he conquered his fear and jumped from the edge of space. Breaking the sound barrier at 843 mph, he became the fastest man in free fall.

“Everyone has limits. Not everyone accepts them”-Felix Baumgartner. Valor is in you. Set it free.
