Christian Craighead: SAS One Man Killing Machine
Took on a group of terrorists in Kenya Mall by himself
When Al-Shebab terrorists attacked the mall in Nairobi, Kenya in 2019, Christian Craighead got a call from a friend that people were being killed. Being part of the SAS (Special Air Service) special forces, he grabbed his rifle and headed directly into battle with the terrorists. During the 20 hour battle, he killed two of the five attackers and rescued several civilians, some who were wounded. He was shot in the arm with a sniper rifle but kept fighting till the terrorists were all dead. Criticized by his government, forbidden to talk about or write about his involvement, Christian was still awarded the Conspicuous Gallantry Cross. While personally saving 20 civilians, it is estimated that over 700 were saved by his actions.
Given no permission to move into combat by his government, with people dying and his help needed, he ignored the soulless bureaucracy and followed the path of Valor. Valor is in you. Set it free.
