Brian Shul: An Indomitable American Hero

Shot down, Burned, Recovered,Flew SR-71s and A-10s
The word Indomitable means “impossible to subdue or defeat”. Brian Shul was just such a man. Shot down in Cambodia flying a T-28 Trojan, he was badly burned. He survived several days in the jungle awaiting rescue. Even after being rescued, he was given no chance to live. Proving them wrong, he survived, went to physical therapy where he was told he would never fly again. He proved them wrong. He went back to work flying the A-7 Corsair II and the A-10 until he was accepted into the SR-71 Spy Plane program. This program has very stringent physical requirements and he passed them all. Retiring from the Air Force in 1990, he became an avid photographer. He proved them wrong even in the face of overwhelming odds. Valor is in you. Set it free.
