1911 Handgun

The colts 1911 Semi automatic handgun created by John Browning has served in every war since World War I. This iconic pistol is still in use today and has become a favorite as it is highly Customizable. The firearms genius John Browning created a variety of weapons for the US government not the least of which is the 1911. This gun was put up alongside the German Lugar before World War II but the Lugar lost out to the 1911 and was adopted instead. The 1911 fires a 45 caliber bullet. The German Lugar was primarily made for 9 mm Parabellum, but the Germans made a .45 version of the Lugar just for the US Army.
