The U-2 Dragon Lady T-shirt is an icon of the Cold War that is still flying today. This spy plane, developed by Lockheed and nicknamed the "Dragon Lady," is a unique aircraft that operates at high altitudes in the Earth's atmosphere, on the edge of space.
Its primary job in the Cold War period was to take pictures of ground installations out of range of any missile attack. It is still in operation and is used as a battlefield control asset, much like a low-flying satellite.
