Trey Howard: The American Heroes that Live among us

Saved his sister from the shrapnel of an airplane crash

When Med Jet flight 056 took off from the Philadelphia airport on January 31, 2025 it suffered some kind of emergency which caused it to crash into a residential area. Ten year old Trey Howard was with his father and sister in a car near the crash site. With explosions and happening all around, pieces of debris flying through the air, Trey covered his little sister who sat in the car next to him, suffering a large piece of shrapnel that embedded in his head. Rushed to the hospital where he had brain surgery, Trey’s first words on awakening were: “Did I save her?” in reference to his little sister. His first thought was for his sister and that makes him Valor Gear’s official American Hero of the Week. Well done Trey!

His first thought was for others: the making of a true hero. Valor is in you. Set it free.
