On May 1, 2011 the compound where Bin Ladin was living was silently invaded by two highly modified stealth Blackhawk helicopters. One crashed and was destroyed but the mission was accomplished. A stealth helicopter was also used in Vietnam in 1972 by the CIA when a highly modified Hughes 500P was sent to wire tap North Vietnamese communications. This helo was nearly undetectable (soundwise) and also accomplished its task of stealth operations.
