Shigetoshi Kudo: Japan’s Nakajima J1N1 Gekko night ace
The Night Stalkers of WW2
In his Nakajima J1N1 twin engine night fighter, Shigetoshi wreaked havoc to American and Allied bombers in the early part of the war. Many U.S. B-17s, B-24s and flying boats met their end due to his expertise. Shigetoshi was later badly injured in a crash that kept him out of the rest of the war. He was a cold reminder to American bomber crews that Japan was a formidable enemy in the air.
Never let up your guard. Valor is in you. Set it free.
