Royce Williams: Shot down 4 Soviet Migs in one mission

Now in Consideration for Medal of Honor
They found 263 bullet holes in Williams F9F-5 Panther fighter jet after he landed. When he took on 7 Mig-15s alone, he was with his wingman over the Sea of Japan. Scoring a hit on one Mig-15 as it passed, his wingman took off after it, leaving him with six more to himself. One after another fell to his Panther’s guns in a 35 minute dogfight that was kept off the books for decades. Now at age 100, Williams is being considered for the Medal of Honor. The Grumman Panther was generally never thought of as a good fighter and was used in a ground attack role more often. Royce Williams turned his less advanced fighter into a Mig demolition machine that had to be kept off the books for years. He threw himself into the fight with inferior equipment, trusting in his skills, and he won. Bigly. Valor is in you. Set it free. (Give him the Medal of Honor!!!!!)
