When Kentucky coal miner Michael McGuire got off his shift at 5 PM he knew he only had less than an hour to take his kid to his first basketball game at 6 PM. He took off straight from work dirty, tired and still in his filthy work overalls to get to the game and share an evening with his family. Sometimes a photo is all that is needed to inspire others…a photo of why we fight for what is good and right and just in this world.
