F-4 Phantom II First Ace of Vietnam

Brig. General Steve Richie: taking out MiG 21’s made him one of the killer Ace’s of Vietnam. Part of the 555th tactical fighter squadron, Richie downed two MIG’s in one engagement  with AIM-7 Sparrow missiles. He later went on to destroy 3 more before the end of the war.
