Charlie Kirk: Champion of Christianity and American Values

Assassinated while conversing with college students

When writing for Valor Gear, I am often educated by the lives of those I never knew and never met. Many of them have faded into history to be forgotten by following generations until someone finds out just what amazing people they really were. LazloTokes, Dietrich Bonhoeffer, Necati Aydin, Elias of Heliopolis, Richard Wurmbrand are a few of these indomitable individuals that resisted the temptation to stay quiet to evil empires and groups. Many were killed and all certainly tortured for their beliefs. We as Americans have felt an acute loss in recent days with the passing of yet another great American and warrior of the Faith. As our Valor mascot, the American Knight has as his motto “Fight the good fight of Faith” (1 Timothy 6:12) Charlie represents this in every way and we are proud to acknowledge him as a True American of Valor and a hero of the Faith. He spent the last few moments of his life exercising his First Amendment right to free speech, bravely trying to change the minds of his fellow Americans.

The example he set will now live on in the stories to be told by future generations. Valor is in you. Set it free.
